NOT LESBIANS

X This morning, a google alert was about a woman who is fighting to keep her daughter away from her ex-partner who is a lesbian. The birth mother has been in a mental hospital and her mother was also. And now this woman is trying to claim that her daughter has said she wanted to kill herself after visiting with the lesbian parent. It seems to me that the daughter has inherited a mental thing from her mother and grandmother. But the woman (who never was a lesbian) is using that as a way to keep the lesbian from seeing the girl. This woman lived with a lesbian but would only have sex once or twice a year and didn't like it. So the lesbian must have been with her for more than sex. And when the lesbian had enough and told her to leave, she wouldn't. And now the lesbian will not talk to her on the phone or when she picks up the daughter. This case alone demonstrates why gays should be allowed to legally marry. Then there would be no issue of the birth mother later claiming that the other mother has no parental rights.

X Now that a certain young actress has reportedly said that she is not a lesbian, maybe people will stop writing about her being one. AND soon my E-box will not contain google alerts with stories about her. I want blogs and news about real lesbians.

  2. Hi Steadcat. I have read only a little about this case and that was an interview given by the birth mother. Split-ups can get extra messy when a child(ren) is involved. She made the decision to have a baby while still with her partner. I read something about a group of men who said lesbians may put the focus on what some men go through when an ex-wife wants to keep fathers away from the kids. I know on Divorce Court the judge got on the wife for denying the husband visitation. It's nasty to use the children as a weapon against an ex-spouse.

There was a post of yours that I wanted to comment on but I can't ... I'm trying to stay mellow.

The Agenda-Civil Rights

Support for the LGBT Community: While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It's about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect. Federal law should not discriminate in any way against gay and lesbian couples. ... young & old, rich & poor, democrat & republican, black white hispanic asian native american gay straight disable and not disable ... we are and always will be the United States of America. --Barack Obama, (More)
