THE BEAST

the beast was captured
this time with determination
the mind took total control
and held it with a heavy chain & lock
and the key was thrown away
every day the beast marked
the passing of time
by scratching the heart
it drank from soul's well
after many years
the heart was shredded
till it could hardly feel
and soul's well was half empty
then one day
a stranger with hello eyes
found the key
and said
feast on me
so once again
the beast was free
======
NOTE: My beast has nothing to do with the Devil or anything evil. My beast is my love and lust that sometimes surfaces. I can't control who I fall for, but I can control who I will share myself with. One of life's lessons learned is that I can't always have who I want, and I shouldn't always take what's offered,
when it is not good for me.

  1. i came across this looking for erotic lesbian poetry...the title caught my eye, since my name for my high libido has always been 'the beast'. how lovely to know that someone else understands.

  2. Hi Anonymous - When we take a chance on a certain someone we allow her to release and then calm our beast. :)

I hope you have read some of my other poems and stories. Since you are looking for erotica try my story Rusty if you have not read it already. At my right sidebar under Fiction Sites you will find sites that I visit. Enjoy. :)

NOTICE BOARD

Hi SPT readers. I haven't posted anything new in several months. I don't want to post about political issues so until I'm inspired with something new or finish a story ....

Feel free to post comments about something you have read at SPT because I do like hearing from my readers even if it is just a hello. I don't put up my email address because I already get mail from people trying to sell me Viagra which goes straight to the Junk box. :) I do receive notification when someone has made a comment at SPT and I will respond as soon as I can. Thank you for visiting. -S

The Agenda-Civil Rights

Support for the LGBT Community: While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It's about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect. Federal law should not discriminate in any way against gay and lesbian couples. ... young & old, rich & poor, democrat & republican, black white hispanic asian native american gay straight disable and not disable ... we are and always will be the United States of America. --Barack Obama, (More)
