MEETING WOMEN

Living where I do, repressive southern city, it's difficult meeting women to date. And since I don't 'date' married women, there's not many to choose from. Of course, would have more opportunity if there was a gay bar/club here. However, I know that there are women who are married or have a boyfriend, that is either bi or a pretender. My relationships are difficult enough, so I try to not get involved in anything that would end in drama. There's already enough, dealing with a woman who doesn't want to accept her true-self. No I'm not going into details, read the poems.

But sometimes after reading some of the nasty things that heterosexuals say about us, I think about the married women I didn't go after. Why should I respect that legal document that I am denied. Several somebody's had better be glad of that Commandment -- you know, from that document that is the only thing in the Bible written by God. I've never read a Commandment from God that said me loving a woman is wrong. But of course, man has placed himself above God in Heaven.

Now some of you reading this don't believe in a God in Heaven or in Hell. And that's okay with me. Just like anything else, we decide. And for those who don't read the Bible, we do have the choice to believe or not believe -- it isn't forced on us by Him. Unfortunately, man has decided that he can control and manipulate people, with fear of damnation. Well, if you are already living in fear, have limited freedom, and are not happy, then the threat of something worst, isn't really a deterrent. And attention from a woman certainly feels more like something from Heaven.

Has anyone noticed that the self-righteous ones who hold up the signs that say 'God Hates Fags' don't specify which god they are referring to. The Devil is also a God -- that's why I say -- call your god by name -- mine is the God in Heaven. My God doesn't hate, and like any GOOD parent, He wants the best of us and from us. Unfortunately, some earthly parents disown their children for being Gay. There are stories in the Bible where somebody did something awful, but God didn't disown them. But yet again, some humans think they are above God in Heaven. (Beware of false prophets, who will try to get you to turn away from the God in Heaven. They don't have an exclusive right to Him.)

Now some people reading this, (well you don't have to -- I'm not forcing you), will not like that I'm writing my thoughts about religion. I'm including this -- it is my blog -- because so many women have denied their sexual selves because of religion. Some are afraid of going to Hell, because they desire women. How can you stop a thought or feeling. I read somewhere that a thought is just as bad as the deed. So if you're thinking it, and not actually doing it, then there is No Way Out.

The Agenda-Civil Rights

Support for the LGBT Community: While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It's about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect. Federal law should not discriminate in any way against gay and lesbian couples. ... young & old, rich & poor, democrat & republican, black white hispanic asian native american gay straight disable and not disable ... we are and always will be the United States of America. --Barack Obama, (More)
