ABOUT KATHY's BLOGS

Hi Readers. If you haven't been to Kathy's Lesbian Life blog yet, breeze on over and check it out. She is the Lesbian LIfe guide. Once there you will find need-to-know info, a place to read/post poetry & short stories, and you can cruise the boards for a topic of interest.

Kathy also has another site where she blogs with a partner, perhaps you have heard of them Lipstick & Dipstick. Have a question or just like to read blogs, take a moment and check it out.

I had a link to Kathy's blog before asking permission. But Melissa, the LL moderator, said Kathy was approachable so I sent her an E and received a fast reply. She gave me permission obviously because it's still up and I've linked her other site. When I asked if I could, I told her that my blog contained adult content and if she wasn't offended by such material, then please send me an affirmative e-mail. At the time, yesterday, I had not read everything at her Lipstick & Dipstick site. I have since read more, and hey, she uses four-letter words too. But to ask first is the polite thing to do. Be sure to click 'Teasers' on the home page. If you like humor mixed with truth then you should really check this site out.

Thanks for the shout-out! Much appreciated.

And yes, I take a bit of a different tone on Lipstick & Dipstick than I do on Lesbian Life. A bit more "salty" language.

  2. Dipstick, you are very welcome. And I thank you for providing useful info, history, humor, and a place for me to hangout occasionally. I try to pass on to my Readers sites that are not only entertaining but useful. As more and more women are coming out, they need the info you provide. Tell Lipstick, that Salty says hello and I thank her also. --Salty

NOTICE BOARD

Hi SPT readers. I haven't posted anything new in several months. I don't want to post about political issues so until I'm inspired with something new or finish a story ....

Feel free to post comments about something you have read at SPT because I do like hearing from my readers even if it is just a hello. I don't put up my email address because I already get mail from people trying to sell me Viagra which goes straight to the Junk box. :) I do receive notification when someone has made a comment at SPT and I will respond as soon as I can. Thank you for visiting. -S

The Agenda-Civil Rights

Support for the LGBT Community: While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It's about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect. Federal law should not discriminate in any way against gay and lesbian couples. ... young & old, rich & poor, democrat & republican, black white hispanic asian native american gay straight disable and not disable ... we are and always will be the United States of America. --Barack Obama, (More)
